Como estamos con respecto a este tema, se supone que un server privado NO es ilegal, podria alguien confirmarme si puedo o no publicar un server tico aqui.

Hasta donde se no se considera ilegal, el juego lo puedes descargar gratis incluso de BLizzard

Ehm a lo que me refiero es que tener el juego no es ilegal, lo puedes conseguir donde quieras, y apartir de ahi cada quien se conecta al server que sea

Para poder instalar el juego, es necesario aceptar el EULA (End User License Agreement), donde en la sección (iii) del punto B dice:

B. You agree that you shall not, under any circumstances,

(...)

(iii) host, provide or develop matchmaking services for the Game or intercept, emulate or redirect the communication protocols used by Blizzard Entertainment in any way, including, without limitation, through protocol emulation, tunneling, packet sniffing, modifying or adding components to the Game, use of a utility program or any other techniques now known or hereafter developed, for any purpose, including, but not limited to, unauthorized network play over the Internet, network play utilizing commercial or non-commercial gaming networks or as part of content aggregation networks; o...

Un servidor pirata viola ese contrato que usted acepta al instalar el juego, y por lo tanto es ilegal.

Como nota aparte, le moderé la firma porque violaba las reglas del sitio.

Esto no quita que sea ilegal o no.

Blizzard da permiso legal a terceros a montarse servidores gratuitos de WoW?

Que usted pueda conseguir el juego por mula, torrent, crack, warez, o rapidhsare, o en foros no quiere decir q sea legal.

Hagale caso a DarkCloud, el primer xG que juega WoW.

no mae.. acuerdese de SGT jugo wow fue el primer warlock lvl 0 que lvleaba AoE-grindeando a puro mele eso ya hace bastante tiempo :P

Bueno, después de ver este link le mandé un correo a Amnet que incluía lo siguiente, tomado del EULA de WOW:

4. Responsibilities of End User.

Under no circumstances may you connect, or create tools that allow you or others to connect, to the Game's proprietary interface other than those expressly provided by Blizzard for public use.
