Sky Posted March 6, 2012 Report Posted March 6, 2012 Gerente de Recursos Humanos Job Summary The Human Resources Manager II - III will function as a generalist in a variety of Human Resources (HR) activities to support a Central American Assembly & Test Manufacturing site. This position will have a heavy emphasis on employee relations. Generally responsible for a multitude of support activities to include, but not limited to: participating in the staffing function, providing compensation & benefits support, developing and delivering training for the organization. This role may participate in company-wide HR team activities and may be responsible for leading other team actions across the enterprise. This position is additionally responsible for coordinating and managing site HR activities, such as: cafeteria service, employee transportation services, communication forum coordination, employee wellness activities and employee engagement/enrichment functions. This position will supervise 1-2 non-exempt HR support employees. Job Qualifications Minimum requirements are a Bachelor’s level Degree (or equivalent industry experience) plus a minimum of 6 years directly related industry experience, 4 to 5 of which must have been in a strong employee relations support role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. However, the preferred candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent industry experience) plus a minimum of 8 years directly related industry experience, 5 to 6 of which must have been in a strong employee relations support role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience as an HR business partner and/or generalist is highly desired. Previous experience managing people is required. Strong analytical and problem solving aptitude as well as the ability to coach managers and employee are all required in this position. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a requirement both written and spoken. Some travel may be required, ability to travel to the United States is required. Experience working in a division of a US parent company or Multi-National Company, experience working in a matrix environment with a remote manager and team are required.
