Omega320311 Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 (edited) En eso de las razas he sido un aficionado muy exigente, ahora que me doy cuenta que Gorush es Zerg, imagino que debe ser muy gosu ya que es muy rápido (235 APM) Al que nunca perdonaré es al Betrayer de Elky_fr, el man fue muy bueno con Protos, Incluso llegó a disputar una final de WCG con Boxer, Usando Protos por supuesto (corrección usando Terran), pero ahora el chobo de Obi One “Elky”-noobi juega Terran, y en los VOD´s que he visto (2002-2003) siempre lo owenean y muy feo, jaja! por cambiar de raza. PD: Alguno puede postear un link para ver resultados más recientes de los gamer en Korea para ver quienes son los gosus mejor rankeados últimamente. [sCL] In an earlier post-1.08 interview you said Protoss was the best race, but these days everyone seems to agree that Protoss is the weakest race in patch 1.09. What do you think now, and what balance changes are you hoping for with 1.10? [Elky] Well it's really hard because you have 2 matchups to think about, and I think protoss vs terran is fair at the moment, the biggest problem being PvZ. it's really hard but I'd say an easier counter to lurkers. and maybe reduce the cost of psi upgrade or stuff like that so P will be less sensible to Z early on. as for protoss vs terran it mainly depends on map, and how easy it is for terran to use the land at his advantage in order to expand safely or fight in great positions. [sCL] Most people think Terran is the most difficult race to play. Do you agree? Which race would you say you find the simplest? [Elky] well at really high level I'd say zerg and terran are both the hardest to play because of their micro intensive possibilites. It's really hard to control properly all terran units but I'm more impressed when i see Yellow's map control than when I look at Boxer microing his units godly. Although zerg is the most adaptive race, that means you always have to think when to expand, make drones or what kind of units,... On the other hand, terran units low hitpoints and the fact that they dont get out that fast doesnt allow you any little mistake. [sCL] Which Terran match-up do you find to be the most demanding, and why? [Elky] I think Terran vs Protoss is the hardest because you need to trick the protoss or take him out of position in order to win, and you also have to be really sure of what he is doing, some kind of feeling. though Terran vs Zerg is really hard because it's the most micro-intensive matchup in the game, it doesn't require the same skills. [sCL] If there were one piece of advice you could give to anyone trying to become a gosu Terran user, what would it be? [Elky] Wear Oakley sunglasses and your vision of the game will be changed to another level. Actualmente usa Random. PDta. La final de WCG vs Boxer fué Elky usando Terran, y fué una pelea de Battle Cruisers la que ganó obviamente Boxer...

Qué bateadera me tengo: Round 1 - Gorush es Zerg y no Protoss Round 2 - La foto de Hot 486 Forever y no de "Boxer" Round 3 - Elky jugó la final con Terran y no con Protoss Fuera!!!! KO! Que rayos!, uso ToSS por que soy agresivo, quiero ser el que lleva la iniciativa del ataque, y por más que estudio a los gosus, descubro lo dificil que es el match pvz los ToSS que salen ganando casi siempre son los que juegan defensivo, y eso no va conmigo, no quiero cambiar de raza, pero si no puedes con ellos... uneteles. Otra receta es seguir siendo ToSS, pero vs Zerg usar otra raza. Por eso admiro tanto a Fisheye, pvz 100% y gana. Edited May 21, 2004 by Ñeo AKA Ñato

Omega320311 Posted May 24, 2004 Report Posted May 24, 2004 (edited) Coincido con Executor (Aranath), es muy dificil esa partida pvz, principalmente por lo que se tarda el Gateway vs Hachery en sacar los units. Pero lo que entiendo de lo que dice SGT es que se puede ser agresivo jugando pvz, al decir que "al principio se presiona un monton", por ejemplo: debe de referirse a esa buena jugada de sacar fast-corsarios para matar los Overlords supongo. pvz: Para ToSS: Corsarios Rayitos (storm) Expanderse más que el Z Enchaparse ayuda mucho vs Lurks (canon) ToSS rlz!
